This year we are using an online registration form and provider which:

Following the success of the Software Licensing and Asset Management Conferences in 2013 & 2014, the University Software Licensing Community, with the support of QUDIT and CAUDIT will again be running this event in 2015. The theme this year is Managing Software Assets: Build, Buy or Subscribe! It will be held in Brisbane at the Ship Inn, South Bank campus, Griffith University on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 6-8 October 2015.
The USLC is hosting this conference and inviting key decision makers from software licensing, procurement and asset management areas representing their Universities from across Australia and New Zealand to participate in this hands-on event.
The main focus will be on investigating licensing solutions suitable for today’s academic environment of research, teaching and administration, with the challenges of site licensing and subscriptions, personally owned devices, and mobility all impacting on software asset management.

The conference will commence on Tuesday afternoon (6th Oct) with a CAUDIT Strategic Procurement update from Steve Johnston, a Community of Practice discussion and round table workshop session. A QUDIT sponsored Conference Reception at the Ship Inn will be held, starting at 6:30pm and afterwards the delegates are free to arrange their own entertainment.
Day 2, Wednesday 7th will begin with a Conference Welcome and opening keynote followed by a mixture of relevant presentations, panel sessions and case studies.
A conference dinner will be hosted by Hearne Software at The Shore on Wednesday evening to enable further networking for the attendees.
Day 3, Thursday 8th will continue the conference theme with a mixture of keynotes, presentations and the Great Debate, before closing at 3:30pm.
The Ship Inn is providing all the day catering (sponsored by SoftwareOne) so please let the conference organizer know if you have any dietary requirements. For the coffee challenged a Barista will be available during the conference and between the accommodation and the conference centre is an amazing number of cafes, food outlets and shops at Southbank parklands.
To encourage attendance from universities around Australia, the Early-Bird full registration fee is $155 plus GST. However the venue has a defined capacity, so attendee numbers are limited and early registration is recommended.

If you require us to book accommodation on your behalf, you will need to provide ones night’s accommodation in order to secure your booking. Refunds and Cancellation:
A full refund will be given for conference cancellations received prior to Friday 2 October 2015. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded; however, delegates may nominate a substitute in their place. Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival or early departure. All refund requests MUST be in writing and received by the conference organisers prior to Friday 2 October 2015.
Please note: Accommodation cancellations must be received in writing and cancellation fees are at the hotel’s discretion depending on date of cancellation. Cancellations received after the 6 September and no shows may incur a cancellation charge equal to the entire stay’s accommodation rate.
All refund requests will be processed after the conclusion of the conference.
