CAUDIT is pleased to announce that Greg Sawyer has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
Greg has been acting in the interim CEO role since November 2021.
“During this time, Greg has demonstrated that he is an empowering leader who possesses the necessary vision and leadership skills to ensure CAUDIT continues to deliver meaningful outcomes for Members” said Niranjan Prabhu, CAUDIT President.
The CAUDIT Executive Committee made Greg’s appointment official at the Autumn Members’ Meeting on 07 April 2022.
“It is an incredible honour for me to lead CAUDIT’s important work enabling the application of digital capabilities to transform education and research. I remain proud and inspired to work in Higher Education and as we enter this new phase for CAUDIT, I look forward to the many opportunities to connect in person, support each other and deliver value to the sector” said Greg.
Since joining CAUDIT in 2019, initially as Strategic Initiatives Development Manager and then Director, Cybersecurity Program, Greg has spearheaded several key projects including developing the Australasian Higher Education Cybersecurity Service (AHECS) and delivering the new CAUDIT Website.
Greg brings over 20 years of technical and leadership experience in the Higher Education sector to the role. He holds a Master of Business Technology (MBT) from UNSW and graduated from the CAUDIT Leadership Institute in 2018.
