2022 Autumn Members' Meeting: Two great days of connecting and collaborating in Melbourne

The 2022 Autumn Members’ Meeting brought together 33 CAUDIT Member Representatives for two wonderful days of connecting and collaborating in Melbourne.

It was great to have so many Member Representatives come together in person after two long years. The AMM featured more than 24 speakers and panellists with a diverse range of perspectives that added a great richness to the conversations and panel discussions.

The theme of the AMM was ‘together, towards tomorrow’ and the two-day program featured several important conversations exploring the opportunities and challenges we face as a sector, and how working together can lead to better outcomes for all.

Attendees left feeling energised and reminded of the value of the CAUDIT network.

We thank Craig Warren, Chief Digital Officer, Deakin University for chairing the AMM and Professor Iain Martin, Vice-Chancellor and President, Deakin University for opening the meeting with an insightful VC address. Professor Martin’s address explored the road we have ahead to build universities of the future, and emphasised the importance of collaboration in shaping a successful future for the sector.

The incredible quality and depth of the program delivered by presenters and panellists was a testament to the experience and knowledge that exists within the CAUDIT Network. For those that couldn’t attend, the slides and audio recordings of sessions will be available for Members to watch online in the coming weeks.

The full agenda of the AMM can be found here.

We thank our speakers, presenters and panellists for making the two-day program so topical and engaging and our event Sponsors CompNow Confluent, Fortinet, Veeam, Red Hat and GitLab for their support.

We look forward to connecting again at the Spring Members' Meeting which will be held in Brisbane on 13-14 October 2022.
