RDSI Updates [1]
The first nodes have been announced by the RDSI Project – located in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Hobart. The University of Queensland is working with the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education (DIISRTE) and CAUDIT to develop a national network of data stores where research data could be readily accessed, analysed and re-used and to support the retention and integration of nationally significant data assets.
In addition to the node announcement, new vendors have been added to the RDSI Panel, providing a mechanism for RDSI nodes and CAUDIT Members to purchase storage and related infrastructure at discounted prices.
Pricing information for members is available on CAUDIT Connect (https://connect.caudit.edu.au [2]) within the Procurement Community of Practice.
