Australian Research Infrastructure Network (ARIN) is an initiative that will provide a gateway to access collated research infrastructure across Universities, Institutions and publicly funded organisations. It promotes the use by these organisations of cloud-based facility management software that simplifies access to leading-edge, publicly-funded Australian research infrastructure and expertise. Facility management solution helps each facility to efficiently manage their resources and improve their future planning using its reporting system.
Building on the successful implementation of the current ARIN booking system, we are now looking to significantly upgrade the software to provide greater functionality and to allow expansion to a greater number of facilities and organisations. To continue providing a viable and flexible ICT solution and to increase access to Australia’s research infrastructure, the ARIN management committee in consultation with our stakeholders have proposed the development of a multi-vendor panel solution, which will allow organisations to choose the most suitable software for their specific requirements whilst still staying connected through the ARIN.
Monash University on behalf of ARIN has conducted an open tender procurement process to establish a vendor panel. ARIN, in partnership with CAUDIT, has developed the panel beneficial to both ARIN stakeholders and CAUDIT members outside ARIN. This will involve ensuring the Monash University’s tender responses are made available to any University or Institution in Australia."
The following members vendors have been included in the panel for a Platform Booking System (click on the vendor logo for more specific information about each offer).
