The Student Data Special Interest Group (SIG) was formed in May 2019 to support institutions with the challenges in managing the Transforming the Collection of Student Information (TCSI) Australian government project.
With an active community of 114 members from 33 institutions, the SIG members recognised the benefits of a trusted community of like-minded practitioners, sharing challenges and solutions. The CAUDIT Executive, with the support of the Student Data SIG members, have endorsed the newest CAUDIT Community of Practice (CoP), the Student Systems CoP. The name change reflects a wider purpose across all Student Systems and will deliver increased benefits including to New Zealand representation. The CoP will incorporate the SiG members, as well as being open to new members, to support practitioners in supporting and enhancing all student systems.
