History - Chapter 12 Representation on other bodies

Members of CAUDIT, mainly, though far from exclusively, of the Executive, have been appointed to other bodies to provide advice. This was relatively rare prior to the 21st century, but is now frequent, as the expertise of CAUDIT is now widely recognised in federal government circles.

Among the more important bodies on which there has been representation are:

  • AARNet Board and AARNet Advisory Committee
  • Australian Commonwealth Government e-Research Co-ordinating Committee
  • Australian eResearch Infrastructure Council (AeRIC)
  • Australian Research and Education Network Advisory Committee (ARENAC)
  • Australian Research Information Infrastructure Committee (ARIIC)
  • EDNA
  • EDUCAUSE Conference Organising Committees
  • EDUCAUSE Evolving Technologies Committee
  • HES Board
  • Higher Education Information Infrastructure Advisory Committee
  • MAMS Steering Committee
  • National RNO Committee
  • National Scholarly Communications Roundtable Committee
  • NCRIS Platforms for Collaboration Roadmap Development.
  • Standing Committee on Intellectual Property (SCIP) and its predecessor SCIR

Details of the representatives can be found in Annual Reports
