Showcasing Inspera's holistic and multilingual approach to similarity checking, detecting text tampering, identifying assignment-wide patterns in the context of the evolving needs and availability of resources to students and educators, Inspera will emphasise why the evolution of ensuring originality requires continuous innovation and collaboration rather than static, policing-oriented solutions. 

By shifting the perspective towards pedagogy-driven insights, Inspera Originality's approach, highlights how technology should inform educators rather than become both the judge and jury. 
Central to their thesis is the belief that "pedagogy leads technology" and that "a red flag does not equal academic misconduct."

Inspera will also focus on their thinking on pedagogically driven authorship analysis, without resorting to binary classifications or invasive monitoring techniques.

As part of Inspera's new partnership with Auckland University, and the planned work in 2025 focussing on the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in learning and teaching, the university has agreed to identify specific areas of focus with Inspera, to collaborate on and to share all outputs, materials, and data generated from this work. This work will guide the future development of some AI focused assessment tools which Inspera will refer to during the presentation.
