The CAUDIT Enterprise Architect Community has closed on a high following on from a successful three day symposium held in Melbourne recently.
The event attracted over 50 participants from Australian and New Zealand universities and included speakers Marcus Blosch, VP of Research on Gartner’s Enterprise Architecture team, Brad Drysdale, CTO of mulesoft, William Confalonieri, CDO Deakin University plus many more.
Presentations from the symposium will be loaded to the CAUDIT website over the coming weeks.
During the program, the Community held its first formal Annual General Meeting and in doing so, CAUDIT’s longest-standing and most-established community of practice was legitimised. What is now formalised as the CAUDIT Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice was seeded in 2006 at Charles Sturt University with the inaugural CAUDIT Enterprise Architecture in Higher Education Symposium. The community has since assembled annually on ten further occasions. The Communit's foundational efforts significantly driven by Ric Phillips (Monash University) and Jeff Kennedy (University of Auckland) were acknowledged before elected nominations were held for the positions of CoP Chair (Jeff Kennedy, University of Auckland) and Deputy Chair (David Johnston-Bell, Deakin University).
