Enterprise Architecture (EA)

About the EA Community

Focusing on Enterprise Architectures role in supporting universities by being an integral part of the university, the EA Community exists to improve the value of enterprise architecture to higher education and research institutions.

The CAUDIT Enterprise Architecture (EA) Community of Practice (CoP) exists to improve the value of enterprise architecture to higher education and research institutions. The focus of the community is to share knowledge and build professional relationships. The community also provides the means by which its members, who derive from CAUDIT member organisations, can organise and coordinate efforts to solve common problems and share those solutions with the wider community.

EA Symposium

The EA Community hold an annual Symposium which attracts up to 100 enterprise architects and other professionals. The symposium has been running for over 16 years. Washup from the 2021 Symposium can be found here

Higher Education Reference Models (HERM) V2.6.0

The EA Community have contributed significantly to the ongoing development of the industry reference models for higher education. In addition to this they have launched the latest iteration of the Global HE Capability Model in partnership with EDUCAUSE and UCISA. The reference models are governed and continually developed by the CAUDIT Higher Education Reference Models Working Group, with active collaboration and contributions from corresponding groups in EDUCAUSE, UCISA and EUNIS.
