CMP How to Apply

Participation in the CAUDIT Managers Program is a transformative experience and those who are fortunate to participate will benefit from the course content and the unique extended delivery mode throughout their career.

Applications for the 2018 program will open in March 2018 via the CAUDIT newsletter and close Friday 27 April 2018.

What to know before applying:

  • Applications are open to IT, library and eResearch staff from CAUDIT member institutions only.
  • The program is developed especially for new and existing middle managers and team leaders in information technology and information resources.
  • Check the proposed dates in the schedule to make sure that you can attend as your participation in all face-to-face and online sessions is expected.
  • To apply, please ensure that you have approval for both the expenditure and time needed to attend the program before submitting your application.


The cost for the program is $3,999 including GST.  This includes all face to face module courses, one on one coaching sessions, LSI 360-degree feedback tool at the beginning and end of the program, campus visits, lunches, morning and afternoon tea during the face-to-face sessions and graduation dinner. 

Please note the cost does not include travel, accommodation or any other meals not mentioned above.  Participants are required to make their way to and from the venue each day.  Where a session takes place in a participant’s home city, travel or accommodation may not be required.  However, for your budget purposes, please allow up to 6 nights’ accommodation and up to 3 return flights over the entire program.  To maximise networking opportunities, CAUDIT recommends that participants stay together in a central location convenient to the host university and will provide a recommendation of a reasonably priced option once host cities are known.

What happens after you submit your application:

You will be notified about the status of your application within two weeks of the closing date.  Where there are multiple applications from the same organisation, we will liaise with your CIO for priority placement order.  We hope to get this sorted out asap.  In the interim, you might like to bookmark the dates of the upcoming program sessions (in particular the Welcome Webinar.  Note that the location of the face-to-face sessions will be dependent upon which organisations apply so this will be advised after your placement is offered.  Your successful placement will be notified via email and you will also receive an invoice for your participation and links to all relevant resource material.
