  • Endorsement to attend: You will be asked to upload a copy (pdf) of the confirmation/endorsement from your CIO/Director/Librarian.  This can be a a copy of an email or other approval document.  Download 'Why I should attend' example letter and customise to suit your needs.
  • Your photo.  Smile! You will need to upload a photo of yourself (head shot) in jpeg format.  This is required to assist the faculty and your colleagues to identify you.
  • Reasons for attending and bioYou will be asked to provide a brief bio of your current position and your reasons for attending the CLI.  You may want to jot these down before you begin.
  • Questions for the faculty.  You will have an opportunity to speak one-on-one with the faculty throughout the week.  The progression through the sessions will prompt many questions however you can also pre-empt this by providing a career question/s in your application.

Not sure if this is the right program for you?  Contact CAUDIT Manager, Professional Development, Cassandra Spencer to discuss.

What happens after you submit your application:

You will be notified about the status of your application within two weeks of the closing date.  Where there are multiple applications from the same organisation, we will liaise with your CIO for priority placement order.   In the interim, you might like to bookmark the dates of the upcoming program session.    Your successful placement will be notified via email and you will also receive an invoice for your participation and links to all relevant resource material including the Belbin profiling.  The profiling is an important component of the CAUDIT Leadership Institute program - it involves input from your peers so don't leave it until the last minute to get it started.
