Presenter Biography
Jim Lathan
Jim Lathan is a product specialist with Dell specialising in Dell’s Flexible Computing Solution and Client Systems Management. Jim started with Dell in November 2000 where he quickly became a field expert in alternative computing solutions. Jim’s experience and industry knowledge has enabled him along with Dell program managers to create, develop and launch Dell’s Flexible Computing Solution.
Prior to Dell, Jim was employed by then the 3rd largest public school system in South Carolina, Technology Direct. He was responsible for implementing computers, the Internet and other technologies in classrooms. Jim has been able to draw on his past public and private consulting business experiences to propel Dell into the Alternative Computing landscape.
Jim studied computing technologies at the University of Maryland and University of Phoenix and maintains several industry certifications to include those of Microsoft and Cisco.
Mark McIntyre
Mark McIntyre manages VMware’s business in Western Australia. Mark has over 12 years experience in representing Information Technology solutions. Prior to joining VMware Mark lead APC Corporation for four years in Western Australia & South Australia. During his time, he developed two of the largest datacenters within these regions. Mark has also worked for, Alphawest, Amnet and Gateway.
