Abstract

While enterprise architecture is a relatively new concept in higher education, it has long been an essential part of IT in the corporate world. As a result, many enterprise architecture techniques have been developed and refined in corporate settings.

This presentation will explore the conventionally accepted wisdom of enterprise architecture in corporate IT to see how it applies to higher education. The same practices and tools are applied in different industries...but is this really the best way? Perhaps a different approach to enterprise architecture is required in higher education.
