Car Parking
The Melbourne Convention Centre offers undercover Conference on-site car parks, with access off Flinders Street.  The Melbourne Convention Centre is also conveniently located close to public transport. 

Catering
All lunches, morning and afternoon teas will be served in the exhibition area.

Child Minding
Please note that no official arrangements have been made for child care during the meeting. Please check with your hotel as they should be able to assist you with child minding services.

Credit Cards
Credit cards are widely accepted at hotels, shops, restaurants and airlines. The following cards will be accepted for the conference: Visa, Master Card and AMEX.

Currency & Banking
The Australian Dollar ($AUD) is the official currency for Australia.  All major international banks or their agencies have branches in Melbourne.  Most banks are closed on weekends although electronic banking services, including use of major international cards, are readily available in Australia.  Major credit cards are commonly accepted for shopping, in restaurants and entertainment venues.

Dress
Conference dress is smart casual for sessions and the welcome reception and business/lounge suit for the conference cocktail party and dinner.

People with Special Needs
Every effort is made to ensure that people with special needs are catered for.  Should you require any specific assistance, please include a notation with your registration form to enable us to make your stay in Melbourne a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Every effort will be made to accommodate any special dietary requirements but advance notification is required.

Transport

Airport Transfers
Easy access is available from the airport to the city centre via bus or taxi. Please refer to the website  www.melair.com.au for further information.

Skybus offers a shuttle bus service from the airport to Melbourne CBD and city hotels.  This service operates 24 hours, 7 days.  Buses run every 15 minutes throughout the day and every 30-60 minutes overnight.

Taxis are available from the ground floor level of Melbourne Airport. Expect to pay around A$35 to A$40 for the 30 minute trip into the centre of Melbourne.

Registration fees:

Cancellations received in writing to the Conference organisers’ office prior to 31 March will receive a 50% refund of registration fees paid.  No refund will be given after this date.  However, your registration can be transferred to another member of your organisation.  All cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing to the Conference Organisers.

Accommodation:

Hotel policy dictates a cancellation fee of the first night's accommodation if cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
